Has this issue been resolved / does anybody have a clue as to how to fix this?

I didn't experience it the first times I played SH4 but today I try to start the game - and all screens (after the intro vid) have turned a full white. Don't have a clue in hell as to why this is happening, I haven't changed any settings as far as I know.

Help would be appreciated.

PS
If the solution is somewhere on this forum, I didn't find it...

Found it. In case you happen to have an ATi card with Catalyst Control Center software, open it up and disable ATI A.I.

That gets rid of the white stuff.
