Default Snow in Silent Hunter 3

Question for mission editor builders.

Can you get snow on the landscape of silent hunter 3? Islands close to Artic and Antartic maps seem to have no snow or glaciers niether to the poles ie Georgia Island South Atlantic ?

Is there a mod at all for mission editor to allow this to be added to missions.

If you set the correct time of year parameters then you should get snow. Have you ever left Bergan in winter? It's always snowy. This is in the campaign however it should be no different if you create a SP/MP mission.

The SH3 mod area has a Tree Mod by Darkdrone that adds snow-covered ground and trees during the "appropriate" times of the year. (About halfway down the list)
