the pc crashed recently so i'm back at navel academy. After loading Patch 1.4b i've still got the sea spray view in the uzo. Over the years, this is about the 2nd or 3rd time i've had to reinstall & i seem to remember having to hit a certain key to 'activate' the fix. If this is true & i haven't just dreamt it, what key is it? I have spent about 10 -15 minutes searching the forum, but i struggle with these things sometimes.

IIRC this was a graphics card problem...Nvidia possibly ? :hmm:
Really digging into the memory banks here so don't lay odds but I think you were able to disable by pressing either Ctrl or Alt or Shift + Page Up :hmm: Sorry, thats the best I can do matey ![]() |

are you talking about the old nvidia chipset issue with spray causing frame rate loss on the uzo?
I believe Control and P (CTRL+P) disables "particals" and turns it off to fix it ![]() |

Make sure this is in the [VIDEO] section of your main.cfg file located in the SH3 folder oy "My Documents"
HideParticlesNearView=Yes;Activate/deactivate with Ctrl+P (in order to avoid NVIDIA problem) |
