Default Dual monitor help

I have two monitors. currently i play SH3 on one and when i get the idea to surf the net or check e mail or browse these forums i will use the other monitor but it minimizes SH3 and runs it in the background.

Is there a way to make SH3 "always on top" this way if i run my web browser on monitor 2 SH3 will still run on monitor 1?

any info appreciated

thanks

Maybe you could make SH3 windowed?

Although I'm not sure if that also wouldn't just pause the game automatically.:hmm:

I run it in windowed mode and it stays just fine on the other screen. You stop hearing the sounds from the game when you're working in another app on the other window, but it's still running just fine.

I've written quite a few papers and such for school while playing SHIII this way. :P

Also surf the web, forums, etc, etc, and as I type this message out I'm about 10km ahead of a convoy and getting myself set for intercept. :P

Default Dual monitor Setup

Steps:

1. Right mouse click goto properties
2. In display properties goto settings.
3. Click you main monitor(the monitor that you want to play on), mark "use this device as the primary monitor".
4. also mark "extend my windows desktop onto this monitor".
5. apply...

As it good, you will have on your right monitor(the Taskbar and destop).
on the left monitor(just background)...

You can also click on "identify" button wich is your primary monitor

I have the monitor right(dekstop) as 1.
and the left monitor(game monitor) as 2.
while you browsing, it's easier to drag your browser from Monitor 2 to 1..
Good luck...

thats the way i have it set up, whenerver i click on monitor 2 SH3 minimizes but continues to run in the background.

windowed mode works well for dual monitor setup, but i dont care for playing games in window mode.

thanks for the help
