Correct crew numbers?

Does anyone know what the correct crew numbers are for each class sub? They all start out with an amount but according to the wikipeadia, they start with more crew than what was really on the ship. The porpoise class was stated to have 38 men on board, yet the game puts way more men in.

I heard the number 70 from somone on here, was that for each sub? I'm using that right now..

according to Wikipedia a Gato subs sould have
Crew: 60, peacetime; 80 – 85 officers and men, wartime
