Hey fellas, just curious about these subs. From everything I have read, they state that the two classes were "virtually" identical and that some Gar's were referred to as Ts.
My question is, what constitutes a new class? If these boats are so similar, why did they make two different classes? What exactly were these differences anyway? Thanks!

I ditto that question.... just started a new career with the 1.2 patch... Out of Pearl I can choose Porpoise, Tambor, or Gar class.

Well, in game they share the same files for all performance; the gar seems to have a different skin and also differs a bit in terms of the equipment that is/can be attached to it. They are, however, virtually identical.
Some books refer to them as the same class. |
