I don't know if more people have this. But at first I thought the game stinks.
But know after some tweaking and modding.. I am falling in love.

That water.. those waves.. enviromental effects

It's good but def not super !
So SHIV it not so bad afterall (for me)...

Can't wait what patch 1.2 will do..

I am in compete agreement. SH4 is becoming my new sweetheart in the stable.
When you go back to SH3 and SH3 GWX and Dangerous Waters, which are GREAT, mind you, you start to miss SH4 features such as the algae and the transparent water.

SH4 is coming along nicely.

Cudos to the DEV team! It seems they are fighting the same kind of buearacracy that sub skippers had to face in the early part of the war. We need to continue our support of the DEV team.
As I play SH4 more and more I keep discovering where all the work went in to and I for one would like to toast the DEV team for their efforts.

I agree.. some of the anoying bugs are already killed.

My personal dislike were the ships skins.. I still think they are way to rusty and covered with dirt or whatever. For know I use my own Balao skin until someone else (like Fubar) makes a skin like the ones in SH3. Same goes for all carriers, battleships and merchants..

for now.. I really enjoy playing this game !

Boy, do I agree with you about that rusty look. The USN would never let their capital ships of the line fall into such a disgraceful state of repair.
Now Hear This - All Hands Turn To - Field Day - Scrape that rust and start painting.
There will be no liberty until these ships start looking ship shape, spic and span. We're the United States Navy not the Nation of Borat Navy.

Agreed on the capital ships..should be clean. The maru stay rusty as most were floating on memory anyway. Sub skins need to be more gray in color. Some skins out already. I'm waiting on a porpoise class skin.

Damn why can't I get my in game graphics to look like that no matter what settings I choose?

As of now that is my only real issue with the game. I can't get the graphics to look very good. I am not talking about the filter either, I like that, but the textures are just very blury.

Of course other issues are a few bugs but of course those will be fixed soon enough either by modders or the devs.

All in all though SHIV gets a big from me.
