Some SH3 & GWX questions

Hello,

I'm new here,but I'm playing SH3 for a while. I just installed the GWX mod, and it is a huge improvement. I just have some questions about it:

My boat was submerged, and a dept charge exploded above me. The watchtower was damaged. I escaped from the destroyers, but while doing this, I constantly get the message 'watch tower damage'. Every minute 5 times or something. I had no flooding or serious damage, but when I surfaced, 2/3 of my crew was dead

Is this a bug or?

Whats the difference about the flotilla's, except for their locations? I'm now at Lorient, (1942), but that base sucks as you cant leave it quick. I always have to patrol at AL etc, nice over there, but I never encountered a taskforce or something. I heard about the Norwegian campain, how can you be part of this? Or is it just random & luck?

Final: When I change the flotilla to 11 (Bergen), I'm being moved to Italy..a bug?

Welcome

Conning Tower does not show damage, its a Stock thing\issue ( there are however some great Damage Mods out for the rest of the sub ), the flak and deck gun do show damage, twisted, etc. Unless the hull was breached you would have no flooding, I have had my Conning Tower blown to bits, but managed to make it home or to a friendly port for repairs.

As far as Flotillas, as the war progressed they were created to address Germany's War Needs\Strategies ( later in the war they were forced to move to other locations as well ). uboat.net is a great site for all things U-Boat. Flotillas all have their advantages, disadvantages depending upon how you want to play the game, where you start a career

, what type of boat you want. Not sure about the Bergen thing:hmm:

Plus if you are not using SHCommander, get it below. There are a number of cool things you can do with it.
