Default Convoy attack

Has anyone notice the rest of the convoy changes speed once that first ship is hit.

I think it has to do with the convoys speed is set to that of the slowest ship to keep it together. Now if it is intentional that the convoy slows down to the speed of the 3kts wounded ship, I don't know.

Most of the time they all react... By changing course or speed.... Or by sending a bunch of destroyers in my direction

In my experience they react, change course etc.

Usually I don't sink more than 2-3 ships per convoy.
