Default Real Damage Control Photos

Since there has been a lot of discussion about the properties of the damage control modeling in game, I thought it might be beneficial to post some honest-to-goodness damage control photos. Some of the pictures are interesting, but I think the most important one involves the wood shoring used to reinforce the hull and bulkheads. When you see the pictures, you can imagine that more battle damage would quickly overcome the repairs and start the flooding all over again.

It is actually a skimmer, but you can imagine the consequences in under the water!

...or as in the case of this ship and the USS San Francisco, running into rocks at high speed.
