Default Is it me, or do convoys change speed and direction from radio info?

Every time I meet a convoy that's route was radioed to me, the convoy changes direction and speed after I make contact. I had a convoy moving SE change to NE once I made contact, threw off my approach...again!

Its not like he saw me or heard me, i was max visible range and I was at slow speed. Ok, maybe he could have picked me up. Anyway, its not really a bug, just frustrating...in a good way I guess. Its a challenge, keeps it from becoming to repetative I guess.

Hm... I never have noticed them changing course, they're always along the same path for me. But they do travel at speeds listed differently from the radio message.

For example, a convoy listed at 9 knots by radio will have their ships traveling 6 knots when I reach it.

I noticed that the heading and speed shown to you is based on the lead DD sometimes. So if the dd speeds up or changes corse on one of its random searches, the big marker may change too.

My convoy had different speed and course. It was confirmed by my radio transmission reporting the convoy as I left with no hits.

What was really cool was a DD sitting back listening as I fired a hail-mary salvo. It heard the fish on their way and fired flares into the night sky, initiating an evasive maneuver by the convoy...that was sweet, but foiled my last shots since it was hard to see the course change at night through the periscope.
