Default I can only see the interface , everything else remain black (FIXED)

Hi

i got the problem ,that when i tried to open anything (U-Boat School,Museum,Missions,Campaing) ,i'm just able to see the interface (instruments) ,but nothing else like the water, etc.
Here a Picture

What i have done so far

- Tryed another Nvidia Drivers,Deinstall/Install again
- Deinstall the Game , Install new again
- Changed Grafics Settings in Game and also on the Card
- Window mode on/off

My System Specs are :

ASUS EN7950GX2
Nvidia Drivers (now) 96.89
3,2 Gig Pentium IV
2 Gig RAM DDR2

So far as i see , i'm not the only one with this Issue

http://forums-de.ubi.com/eve/forums/...4821013445/p/1

Has somebody an Idea how to get rid of this Problem ?
Thanks

Did you attempt another loading of the game to see if it clears up?

What card do you have video wise?

Some of the older models are not DX9c and up compatible.

Yes , everytime i tryed a new setting , closed the Game, started new , eben when i went to the museum or mission , and see that the Situation is the Same , y went out of the Game , because if i stay looking on the black Screen , after 1 or 2 minutes the Game will Freeze.
I hear also the Sound without problem , but even with a Black view.

What kind of video card do you have? We know it's an nvidia card... but what model? And what kind of monitor do you have?

I'm wondering if this might be some sort of issue with the monitor refresh rate setting.

Here is a quote from another forum regarding my earlier video card of choice.

I've since switched to a FX5500 with 256 and with water and weather to high things look wonderful.

So before you whine about a fault with the program check your viideo cards for compatability.
Find out how old your video card is. Changing and updating drivers are not enough when the card does not support the technology.

I agree. This sure sounds like a video card problem to me, too....

Another thing you can do is go to http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/ and select SH4 as the game you want to it check your system out for and see what it says.

Sorry ,but maybe it was not Clear

I Have a ASUS EN7950GX2 with 1 Gig RAM , so i suppouse that i get more then the min. Specs for the Game , also when i can play without problems and with high settings Games like S.T.A.L.K.E.R etc
The Card is max 1 Year old , and Yes i installed also the DirectX Drivers from the DvD.
My Monitor Type is a Benq T-Type (Can't say at the moment)
Maybe i'm Wrong , but i don't think the Card (Hardware) is the problem.

A question: is all fine with other games and 3D aplications? You should test this only to discard a graphic card problem.

Good luck mate, I hope you solve this problem.

You said you had Nvidia-driver 96.89.
Isn´t driver version 93,71 the latest official one?
Could that be the problem?

Thanks Alexoscar , Muchas gracias

,but like i said , all other Games/Simulators/Aplications work fine , after SH4 , the next Game that i installed has been S.T.A.L.K.E.R and works also Fine.

vodkavera , on my First post , under "what have i done so far" ,you can read "- Tryed another Nvidia Drivers,Deinstall/Install again" , so yes , i tryed as well the ones that your mention, but without any change.

If you see my System Specs are surely ok for this Game , so i think this Link
http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/
will tell me that it's ok , but thanks anyway for the Sugestion.

Regards

You still have not told use the model of your video card. (at least that I can see at this time.) Your motherboard is not the problem.

With my TI 4200 video card, I could run other applications with no problem. It was when I ran a current application that used a particular technology that my video card did not support that I could not see certain graphics.

My guess is still your graphics card. Tell us the model of the nvidia card. If your video is hardwired from the motherboard that may well likely be the problem.
