UBI.com multiplayer down...

I played SH4 few times online on UBI lobby on friday night. I go click on multiplayer today and click on "Play on UBI.COM" i get:

Initilizing Internet connection window for about 20 seconds...

then I get window with error:

cannot initialize online

What's going on, is ubi.com lobby down? I want to play online and obviously since the lobby is down noone can... Can anyone please try right now?

note: and yes I shut down firewalls and allowed proper ports, I played fine friday so its nothing on my side. It doesnt even let me get into the window where you type in password.

Can anyone please go click play on ubi multiplayer and see if they can even login? I just want to verify that in fact their online lobby is down right now...saturday night.

Yes I played few sessions last night, I was host and it worked however one time when I was chatting with people in the game one time i thought i was typing in chat but I wasnt...and I hit "A" key by mistake and you know the story with that... lol

i did try to log in on ubisoft ...i got the same mess as you..didnt come in

sigh, I am considering using Hamachi, the virtual network emulation and playing with my friends over lan. I mean come on its saturday night and we can't play because ubi lobby is down...

I investigated it further and it seems the lobby server hosted by that DemonWare is down... In manual it states that lobby server is test.lsg.agora.mmp.demonware.net, ip resolved at the moment to that is 209.131.124.180. I checked, that server is currently down and unreachable... I think this is the reason entire play on ubi.com is down...

Yes, unfortunately it is down. I tried with version 1.0. Yesterday it worked fine for me too, now it's not working

Me and my 2 friends were annoyed that we couldnt play on ubi, but we found a solution at least untilt they fix it. We used the virtual network program Hemanchi, we created our own network and used the LAN option of the game. We had some fun in few missions. At least I know that clients can hear pinging(something that was broken in mp in original sh3), but was unable to test few other things.
