Default Japan Default Recognition Manual Country?

Hi

When you first open the Rec Man it starts with the USA.
As to me it's logical that most times i will be trying to recognise Japanese Warships is there a way to change the .cfg fils or something so Japan is the default Country and not the USA?

Thanx

when leaving port you will be comming across friendlies so having usa is good for hard settings if the contacts are grey or non existant (I dont play on hard yet so I dont know)

mabe japan should be the second ? (It might be already, I dont know)

If its anything like SH3 the order in which the rec manual is displayed is inline with the defside cfg
America being first will display first - no matter what you put on the display page ie USA\United States or anything else

But I'd think the most important identifing feature for friend or foe is the flag. You may be able to make out the flag before you could make out identifing features for warships.

Default Flags are good for confirmation

Yeah, hard to miss a flag that has a sun with sprouting red rays against a white background. The recognition of the ship other than friend or foe confirmation is that it helps your TDC. In a real battle, it lets you know what you are up against. Imagine mistaking a warship for a freighter or vice versa. Know thy enemy is one of the keys.
