A small plea to all you amasing modders.

I wish I could provide more than sporadic cheering from the sidelines but my tech skills are minimal.

I have one request to the SH4 modding community.

Is there some way the mods can be collected and collated over time, lets say a monthly period and combined into one end of month mod release.

By all means release individual mods as and when you like but the thing that worries me is that with SH3, I wound up with a computer full of 1000s of individual mods that were each in themselves a nightmare to keep track of if there was an upgrade.

Eventually this was sorted out by the NYGM and GWX teams as well as the amazing Generic mod installer and SHCommander. But for a long time it was a free for all and very difficult to keep track of individual mods, and what you'd installed, what improved your game, what crashed it or what simply did nothing at all.
