Did the SH4 train miss Oklahoma?

Hey guys,

I'm just wondering if Oklahoma is the only place pretty much devoid of this game - Best Buy, Wal-Mart, CompUSA haven't seen the game yet and EBgames/Gamespot received an average of 2 copies. I'm guessing UBI really under estimated the demand for this game.

I'm almost tempted to do something I'd normally not do... and that's using the Direct2Drive service, I just hate spending 50$ and not get any physical media. Anywho, hopefully they get these games to the stores soon

You are not alone, not one store in Dallas proper has a single copy of SH4 and it has been 3 days since the release. I am beginning to wonder.

I might not buy this game after all and play w/ SH3 till the cows come home.

If it wasn't for these forums I don't think I'd be so anxious to get the game. Everytime I come here and see the screenshots for the game it slowly chips away at my willpower to avoid D2D :p . Sh4 is pretty much what I wanted Sh3 to be 3 months ago when I picked it up. More immersive harbors, better visuals/effects and transparent water. I think I'll give it a week or so before I download the thing.
