Anti Torpedo Torpedo

I've been searching for this all morning. Does anyone have any information on it? Here is a mention of it during a Congressional briefing from back in the late 90's:

Beyond these systems that are currently in the Fleet, or will be very soon, the Navy has a research and development effort underway to create a reliable hard-kill torpedo countermeasure, one that will physically destroy the incoming torpedo. These efforts continue under the Anti-Torpedo Torpedo Advanced Technology Demonstration (ATT ATD). This Advanced Technology Demonstration began in 1998 and is on schedule to complete at the end of Fiscal Year 2000. The Advanced Technology Demonstration objective is to provide the technology to attack inbound torpedoes, regardless of type, and destroy them. Results are encouraging and it is possible that the Advanced Technology Demonstration will deliver well-developed Guidance & Control technology ready for integration into a new 6.25" anti-torpedo torpedo, or for incorporation into the MK54 lightweight torpedo.

Anyway, from what it looks like, I suspect some ships will be running around with this already deployed, yet I see no mention of it in weapons systems. As we know, the MK54 has been deployed, so I suspect the anti torpedo torpedo is also deployed!

Do a search on "Surface ship torpedo defense". The anti-torpedo torpedo was originally part of the joint US/UK SSTD program, but I believe it (the anti-torp torpedo) was dropped due to technical difficulty.

Looks more like a funding drop - but not a complete drop:

Following OPEVAL, the PEO convened a Technical Advisory Panel (TAP) to review the requirements and the design of SSTD. In essence, the TAP found the design concept to be valid. They recommended the installation of the fixes planned and the resumption of OPEVAL as soon as possible. Unfortunately, the resources necessary to implement the recommendation were not fully available and the program has since been restructured. SSTD today is a modular system comprised of the original detection and softkill sub-systems with capability to accommodate new hardkill systems in the future.
