Default Question about scene.DAT files.

Is exchanging GWX 1.02 scene.DAT file to GW 1.1a, SH3 stock or SH3 with SeeadlerCloudFix scene.DAT file going to make the game unstable? I'm having "sky with no clouds" problem and i'm trying to approach it from this side.
Thanks.

I'm using:
GWX 1.02/SH3Commander 2.7/OB's Torpedo Damage Final Mod/SH3 Weather 1.5 with 8km Atmosphere setup.

It is strange that you are experiencing this problem with the 8km ATM as it's usually attributed to the 16km version.

There have been problems in the 8km scene.dat after (at some point) not rolling back SH3Cmdr. This was usually depicted by a black sky.

There is a possibility that your scene.dat is corrupted somehow.

I do have a 'clean' copy of the 8km scene.dat on my FF acount, however FF seems to be having trouble at the moment. (what's new)

It might be worth you while to try this copy. I'll get a link up as soon as FF is running again.

FF is having hiccups, keep trying!

Failing that, there should be no problems using one of the older versions. Maybe you could even try the versions released by Rubini. http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=107562

Default Got it!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally found a way to get clouds working!
I exchanged the GWX scene.DAT file with the SH3 stock one. Than i edited all campaign .MIS files and put the following stock values in:
[Mission]
Title=GWXR1.02FULL
MissionType=0
MissionDataType=1
Year=1939
Month=1
Day=1
Hour=12
Minute=0
Fog=0
FogRand=0
Clouds=0
CloudsRand=0
Precip=0
PrecipRand=0
WindHeading=0
WindSpeed=5.000000
WindRand=0
WeatherRndInterval=5
SeaType=0
Briefing=

I launched the game through SH3Commander 2.7 and set Partial Clouds in SH3 Weather Gen 1.5. Went into my career, when it loaded, i clicked external view and there they were! I think i'll give it a test drive tonight.
