Default GWX 1.02 Type IXC Range????

I installed the GWX 1.02-Patch after my last patrol in mid 1942 and noticed that after crossing half of the atlantic, you already get a message that diesel is depleted by 50 % Is there something that needs a fix, a mistake by me or did the dock crew forget to refuel my bucket???

Ahead 1/3 as usual on long range travels

I asked my N/O about maximum range after departing Brest in calm seas. It was around 9000 km at ahead 1/3 (about 7 knots). It should be 11000 sm (not km) at 12 knots instead.

I just noticed that the problem is even on ahead flank my boat is terribly slow. (about 10 knots) Is this included in SH3 Commanders random malfunctions????

9000Km at 7 Knots seems too short. It should be something around the 15-16000 Km area. In IXC the optimum speed is 8 Knots and you can have a range of about 20000 Km. I do use IXC and GWX 1.02 but I didn't come accross this type of problem before. Strange :hmm:

Yes, it sounds like a malfunction introduced by SH3Cmdr.

In R2.7 this is an option that you can turn on or off. In R2.6 it's included by default. However, by following the instructions in the readme you can remove the feature manually.

Although your better bet is to upgrade to R2.7 if not already done so.

Just started a new patrol and range is all fine again. Guess I was right about that malfunction thing. Normally this option adds realism but in some cases it just makes you wondering if your PC or the games CFG's are ok.

(I remember that my first encounter with SH3Cmdr's malfunction of Periscope magnification made me think that my TAB-Key was broken)
thx anyways
