I think I need a set of these for the SUV.

That is what I thought! I need studs on the tires about 5 days out of the year over here, and this would be a handy way to have them available. I never drive that thing (it's a Land Rover) because it gets about 18 MPG on the highway vs my SAAB gets 30 MPG, but when it snows (which is rare), the SAAB is bsically stuck and having studs on the LR would be a very nice addition! With the differential locked, the LR will accelerate faster than it stops, and stopping is what I'm most worried about. I have to avoid all the brain challenged people around here who think their Mustang or whatever works good in the snow - and trust me - their are plenty of them out here! Last snow, it was a parking lot on the freeway - they all left their cars and walked home.

Hello All,

I just called them and they said the tires should be available later this year

I also just called my favorite tire store so they could look into them and hop fully preorder and stock them for next winter.
