Default Very Funny - A brief history of oil

It's also rather scary but it is a must see.

Quirky details such as a bicycle powered street lamp on the stage brings home the pertinent question of just how we are going to survive when the world's oil supplies are finally exhausted.
This is the fourth time I've seen this video and it just keeps getting better and better. Newman exhibits an incredible wit and is able to create some of the best summations of the current events that I've ever come across. For example, here's Newman's satirical take on Blair's actions regarding Iraq.

I'd like to hear it.
To put it simply, it's brilliant. This gets four thumbs up.

Just finished it. On some occasions I had some language problems and might have missed four or five points for that reason (wondering why people were laughing ), but still - it is brilliant.

Placing oil center stage is not the cause of all the worlds problems. A more proper term would be to put 'Energy' center stage with oil being one aspect of that. Other examples include nuke reactors in countries like Iran or North Korea. Nukes too - they are a form of energy release is another example.
