Only 500,000 USD for that second sub. Sounds pretty cheap... must be a fixer-upper.

Now all ya need is a mighty sailing crew, some fuel, a full load of torr... I mean, stuff for scientific exploration, and money to burn.

This SimHQ link should help those out who will have to sell this expense to the missus:

I really like the 1st Sub.

Maybe someday they'll make a version that could reach the Titanic.

Though 50m is still pretty good for this type of sub. I was impressed with what I saw on their site.

$500,000.00 for that PI12 is peanuts compared to what fuel, maintenance and operating costs will be to keep that sucker running.

The only people buying those subs are individuals of questionable character that have a certain illegal substance trade. It reminds me of that guy I watched on the History channel that was ex-russian military, was living in Israel and working for the Russian mob. He managed to acquire a russian sub (maybe a kilo class) to do his dirty work. When he asked about price they told him "with our without weapons?" Stories like that scare the hell out of me because you know if it was easy to buy one of those then you also know people like Bin Laden had access to buy nukes.

I'd actually consider buying one of those if I wasn't scared to death of deep water.

Naahhhh, that little thing will only get to 50 meters. I'll take one of these(When I win the lottery, Lol!) These Personal Luxury subs are the coolest thing I've seen under the sea............
http://www.ussubs.com/index.php3

For the filthy rich only of course, but they are so nice, and can dive a lot deeper, and go waaayyyy farther(Transatlantic in fact)

W W,

That Phoenix was nice. Even for 78M. I could not find the price for the others.

I'd be happy with the Nomad 1000, but the Seattle 1000 would be great too.

I think the only this that would bother me is that I would hope not to come across a real US Sub like a Seawolf and have them not recognize the sound signature . That truely would be the begining of a very bad day and the beining of the end.
