This is what I do except in the US. I'm not a driver but do the coordinating of drivers, permit, escorts, etc. I also handle AA&E which is ammunition, arms and explosives. My company also handles movement of military vehicles as well. You name it we have moved it.

So far my council is up 4 new refuse lorries wages are the same and every thing else is the same.

We cycle the lorries every 7 years staggering them a year or two apart our next set are due xmas 2007

'They' are trying to slash our pay via 'single status' dunno if you've heard of that, might not have that scheme in England ?!
