Default Call me crazy but.........

I want to hear voices!

Thats right. I want to here dive dive dive aaaaawooooooogah, aaaaawooooogah.

I want my exec to say something as opposed to just looking at me. I want to here commands for the dive procedures. I want the chief to give me a verbal response. I want them to spend some money on the audio portion of the game other than sound effects. I want a semblance of life outside the boat like radio traffic.

I want to hear voices!

Ok,

You're CRAZY.

Sorry, had to say it.:rotfl:

But I do agree with you about being able to hear from the crew and the World outside the Sub.

It'd be great and I hope more sounds are implemented into SHIV.

However... you may be disappointed, but from the movies we've seen so far, it looks like SHIV will have the same (rather mechanical) English voices as SHIII. Here's to hoping for a voicepack mod, perhaps :hmm:

Also, if you decide to install VI$TA with a Sound Blaster Audigy card, you won't have any sound at all:rotfl:

I think it's there "Silent Mode" feature that is auto-set when an Audigy card is installed .

That or it's just M$ way of saying to Creative:

"Since we did not hear from you when we were making VI$TA, now no one will hear from you.":rotfl:

Oh, wait, that's bad for us

I agree that the alarm sounds are a absolute must.

The latest drivers work I'm pretty sure. My Graphics card won't run though.

As for a voicepack, I suggested making a mod before. When SH4 comes out, and the voices are still crappy, I'll look into organising it.
