Default GWX 1.02 problem

Hey all. I love the newest patch for GWX, very nicely done! Only have one problem so far. The new circular radio antenna. In the patch notes it says it lowers when submerged and raises when surfaced. I was on patrol last night and tracking a merchant at PD. All the sudden, from 2000 meters away it detects me and starts zig zagging. How in the world did he see me, I ask. I go to the external cam and there is that antenna circling right above the water with the rest of the ship submerged. I found a quick work around, which is basically to dive a couple meters deeper, but that just doesnt seem right. If I'm at PD that thing should be disappearing right? I think thats really the only complaint I have about GWX. I know that its realistic that you sit a couple meters higher when you arent moving than you normally would, but I dont think its realistic that you order periscope depth and the crew leaves your conning tower above water. I'm sure they would know to compensate for that when I order periscope depth instead of me having to tell them a couple meters deeper everytime. If I order 15 meters I want 15 meters, not 13, I have to think a real life crew would know to do this.
