I was wondering if any of you plays with antialiasing (AA).
I have mine set to 8xAA and it looks way better than with that software antialiasing you get with ctrl+page up the downside is, that the fire, smoke and bowsplash are uglier, there is very little smoke and the fire looks unreal. Is it possible to get AA working without losing the effect quality ? |

Latest omega drivers for Nvidia were the 66.93. I supose that some graphic cards aren't supported by these drivers because the official 66.93 is out of date for them too (7950GX2 for example).
Angel Trinidad has left this work for Nvidia graphic cards at least. The last official Nvidia driver for XP OS is 93.71. Regards |

I tried the Omega Drivers once, but after install and restart my comp looked like it was without drivers, and I kept getting messages og grapics adapter found, not ready to use. (7950GT)

I used to be able to squeeze 2x2 AA, AF out of my Radeon 9700. But, in her old age, I have started to get the blue screen of death from gpu/gpram crashes during big scenes (convoys, lakes of burning oil, etc). I've turned off AA and AF and am getting more stable gameplay at the cost of sharp edges and duller textures. One of these days she's gonna fry and i'll be ready to upgrade to a dx10 box.
