Default navigation coordinates

Yesterday, out on a patrol with my new type IX, I receive at least 2 radio messages with shipe position looking like 12°34 West, 54°40 North. Actualy like normal navigation coordinates...
But we don t have any marker on map but the greenwich one (0 West/East). Is there a way (maybe a mod) to had some gradient on the map?
One of the message was an detress called from a british ship on open frequence... does it mean I could actualy find the ship? or is it just rubbish message to add some life into the game?
