Hi all I have been given a chance to conduct an email interview
with a man who served on SS-272 Redfin as a torpedoman from her commisioning through all seven of her WW2 Patrols. The purpose of the interview is to post it on here on the SHIV Forum for posterity. as the Interview is for the subsim community , I thought we should solicit the community for what they might like to ask. please post below any suggestion for a question that you might like to have asked. but be aware that your question may not be used or if used may be altered slightly. this isnt a get your question entered contest its a search for what you guys want to know. but it is my intention to ask general questions about his experiences and see what stories follow. in your suggestions please try to remember the mans inevitable age and that some memories can be haunting for a vet. For those that Dont know Redfin here is her website http://www.ussredfin.com/ Thanx MM ![]() |

Hmmm...Good one, this thing..
Ok,here's my question: What was the worst with being on the boat during patrols (except for the attacks....)? (Bad food, cramped living space etc..)..:hmm:
