Neutral Ships question.

I'm playing GWX with SH3 Gen as well. Patrol date Sep 1940.

Upon opening my orders I am informed to consider any merchant heading to the UK as a fair target as the trade is considered illegal. I've just sunk a Large Tanker (19,000t

, biggest ship I've sunk) sailing under the US flag. When I quit the game for bedtime it showed up as a neutral ship.

So the question is: Will I receive the reknown award for sinking the vessel or will I be court marshalled and executed when I return to base? (although it is patrol 2 so i might not make it back)
