Default Ships won't re-appear upon sinking - will wrecks?

OK, so we know that the dynamic campaign "remembers" by removing a ship from the campaign once it's sunk (for example, if you sink the carrier IJN Kaga it won't re-appear again unless you re-start the campaign). Question is, will it work the same way for wrecks? When you sink a ship, will the wreck stay where you left it?

The way this'd work would be for there to be a wreck counterpart for every ship and to have the game record the type of the sunken ship and the co-ordinates at which it sunk.

Of course wrecks wouldn't be generated if they impeded game-play (for example, if they blocked shipping or something).

In addition to wrecks generated for your kills, there should also be wrecks generated randomly for other kills.

Not sure why a permanent wreck site would be necessary. Unless we enjoy revisiting our victims? If every ship you sink (in shallow water anyway) becomes a permanent fixture in the game wouldn't that become another object the computer has to add to the initial game load? Might wanna make it an optional feature anyway. My aging computer is having a hard time just loading GWX.

One feature I wish SH3 had, and by extension SH4, was a feature where your sinkings would be saved on a map with annotations as to date, time, and class. Would be something nice to have as a html file for instance, at the end of a career.
