GWX-Hydrophone reciever destroyed& missing crew members

Hi all,
could someone help me on this problems?
Once I enable both Balkongerät and Nibelung on my XXI (GWX career) I get the message "Hydrophone recievers destroyed". What can I do to fix it? I'm not sure if they're working...
The other problem is when I saved my game- surface, no enemy contacts etc...But on the "quit" screen I saw "1 crew member killed". Odd because this is my first GWX campaign (with only 64x TC) and I didn't have any enemy contacts yet...
I went back to the game and saw that my watch officer was missing- I know there was a "feature" with vanishing officer with stock SH3 if he was leaved with the repair crew, but this one is new for me.
any help appreciated!!!
