For instance, killing the Yamato will make players famous within the game. One of the biggest rewards the game is seeing that these ships aren't present farther on in missions. Because the campaign includes enemy movements and unforeseen outcomes, the campaign can be different every time through.

Successful missions will also mean earning upgrades and experience for the crew. The idea is to create a perfect cadre of men to man all of the stations of the ship. Each of the crew has individual stats associated with them that make them more efficient at certain tasks. For instance, higher perception will allow deck crew to spot enemies more quickly. Playing with the crew in a hands-on sort of way will be an optional experience as well, depending on the level of difficulty selected.

Along with that, the higher rank a player gets, the better the ships that become available. There are plenty of submarine models in the game, one of which even comes from before World War II. It's a rickety thing, but still effective for damaging surface stalkers. As the campaign progresses along, new and better submarines will become available. Overall, including enemy surface ships and planes, there are 75 modeled wartime machines present in the game.
Seems as if the devs have revised the renown system. I'm curious how it's gonna work.

Default Preview Article

I've never seen that preview article before. Looks to be some interesting info there - what was that about sunken capital ships not appearing anymore?:hmm: Was that referring to the campaign itself? If so, then it would truly make the campaign dynamic.
