GWX - Download for Noobs... :)

Hi.

Have been reading at this forum for some days now and I see many are playing GWX mod and are linking to download pages...

But my question is what downloads do I need to play SH3 with GWX mod?

Is it enough to download gwx.exe or do I need GWX1.biz etc etc etc..?

You need all 5 bin files the executable and the Dec-update

....and to be safe the MD5 checker + files.

Use this tool to make sure your d/l is not corrupted.

Or to make things easier, just d/l the single file version.

Why haven't anyone put all this together in one file for easier access for us silent hunter noobs.... ?

One file to install, the play the game....

That would have been great...

It would be a really huge file, and if it was corrupted after the download, you'd have to start it anew. Not every one is happy to have 2MBps broadband.

That's actually not fair. If you do use the search function in this forum you will find loads of threads of 'How do I install GWX' or 'How do I enable the Dec update'. The argument 'I cannot understand how to install GWX because I'm a noob' doesn't apply here. Search through the forum and if you don't find the answers you're looking for regarding the installations I will not post again

The reason its available in smaller chunks is not everyone has a real fast connection or can leave the comp running all day
There are 2 one piece D\L plus a torrent too

Actually it isnt so easy to understand what files you need unless you press on a link like danlisa's...
That page contained instructions for downloading and installing. And after pressing about 20 or 30 links earlier this was a relief.
