Hello all,
I am using GWX, along with some aya candy modsm and there are two problems: 1 - I press Q, the sound of the tube being opened is heard.,...but at a close visual inspection, the tube is still shut. 2 - I cannot man the deck gun or the flack myself,....only my crew can. If I press the corresponding F buttons, nothing happens. If I try to do the same thing by pressing the station icons, the deck gun and flak icons are not selectable. You may have to re-install your stuff because I don't have any of these problems. When you try to man your deck and/or flak guns have you ordered some men to these positions as well? I can't think of any other reasons besides those although I'm less than qualified in this area to offer advice.
Just adding my 2 cents worth to state that the above is not an issue with my install. |

Yeah, thats not GWX, either you are doing something wrong, or there is something wrong with your install, kruger.

Hey, do you guys now how to get rid of the bow wave that blocks the UZO view ahead and slows the frame rate right down? I have GWX by the way.

One thing I found annoying with GWX was some of the creak sounds. Especially the one at about 20 meters depth, not sure what level that is. It is very loud and has a very specific kind of sound to it, that coupled with the repeats at exact intervals makes you just sit there waiting for it. I replaced them with venatores sound mod though and everything is fine.

I Have a similar problem with the flak guns, but I found a fix. Sometimes, when Oman the flak gun, they don't do a thing. What I do (Say, if I have 2 flak guns) is man the first flak gun, make sure its fully zoomed out, and press F4. Do the same with the second gun. It seems once you've manned it yourself and zoomed, AI can't use it. BUT. If you try doing Flak Gun 1 -> Flak Gun 2 -> F4, only Flak Gun 2 will be fixed, you need to do them seperate. Hope you try this before you uninstall.
PS: Why bother with flak, DIVE DIVE DIVE! |
