Default Placing objects in a harbour/on water

Hello there,

Does anyone know how to place static objects on the water ?
What files need the data changed ? For example, I would like to put a Lightship at the entry point for Kiel canal, where do I need to do this?
Can I use the ingame editor ?

Is there a tutorial somewhere on this ?

thank you

What's it do?

Personnaly i was doing it the hardway. IE, having two installs, and using the editor against the 2nd install. Docks and location names and such show up on the map that way. This do the same thing?

Its just a word doc with some pics explaining the basics
Like I said I wrote that a while ago

I did write one for docks and naval bases also
Tis on my FF site

Ports should show on your own install anyway
?
Without needing to look at another
