procedure for resupply please???

Hi can anyone go through how you resupply at bases and milk cows and how you load your game back after doing this please using SH3 commander as i have seen people mention that you have to choose your new location before you reload??? please help can anyone list how you actually have to do it in order to get a succesful reload from where you saved.

Get close to where you want to be, either a resupply ship or a sub base. Use ESC and then select Dock At, which will resupply you. This will show as In Base when you restart. When you restart you will have a full sub but cant't select the torpedos you want to change to, nor any Upgrades I believe. You'll also have your renoun and your own promotion... if you get one. Your patrol area will be Null. So head out to where ever sink ships and head back to your own base. There you'll receive Qualifications, Crew Medals and such plus Renoun, just as you normally do.
