Default Attention Modders

First off, I have no wish to ruffle any feathers or flame or anything but I have one simple request..
When you introduce a new Mod, could you state what you have tried it with i.e. WAC, NYGM, GWX etc. ? and how you installed it, JSGME or otherwise ? The reason I request this is I've noticed a pattern emerging here ..
1. New Mod introduced .. couple of threads later ..
2. Is it compatible with .. couple of threads later ..
3. How do I install this Mod
A brief introduction about your Mod would cut out all of this.
If my request offends anybody then 'Mr. Moderator', please feel free to remove. Thank you.

No offence taken here! In my case, i guess i maybe have been a little unclear on what my work is compatible to. As most of my work is skinning, i always leave a readme in the .rar, with instructions. But if someone doesnt find this clear enough, i will of course give the proper details in the forum upon release. (It also saves people from downloading stuff that will not work on their settings).
For all readers: I use GWX exclusively, and all my future mods will be compatible with this great mod.

Yes, a must!

Other opinions?
Well, in this instance a mod maker need only state something like:

Quote:
Compatibility:
  • Tested and verified compatible with X, Y and Z.
  • Not tested with A, B, C or any other mod. Use at own risk.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR USERS OF X
This mod changes...etc etc ...
Another thing which would help is an identifier in the thread title, like "[MOD RELEASE]". This would highlight the thread against all the "How do I..." threads that exist.

Seems a simple enough request to me, Id say if any one is offended by it, that is their problem not yours. (just my opinion)

Default Well as luck would have it.

I just released my first mod yesterday and by lucky coincidence I think I hit most of the gates here. MM

I would like to add, modders should also upload to FileFront , mainly because those that use Rapidshare, forget that with time, those files are deleted, Filefront only deletes if you personally delete it. Plus it is FREE, and no limit for downloaders per hour.
