Different Binoculars Question.....

Hi all,

Seeing a question about binoculars on here earlier reminded me of a question I was going to post last week (totally forgot!).

Anyway - when looking through the binoculars your view is the typical Hollywood binoculars view of an elongated "two circles-stuck-together-view".

As anyone who has look through a standard pair knows, the view you get is more like a telescope - a single 'circle' caused by the view from each eye 'overlapping'.

Is there a mod available that accurately depicts this view?

Cheers all!

It's a simple mod, you need to edit the file data/menu/gui/binocular.tga and give it the shape you want.

Mh... I looked through many Binoc´s... What Ive seen wasnt a circle, like from a telescope... but more like... oval...

But you´re right, the Binocular shape isnt "correct" but otherwise - its not possible to simulate a real "looking-through-binocular" kind of view... too bad...
