Ok, modders, I need some tech support. I imported Sergbuto's water mod, which uses 6 levels of mdf's. The sparkles are there, the color is good, nice waves, BUT I get a weird hexagon overlay on the water that ruins it.
Any idea on how I get rid of those? Now, the video adapter I have is the Intel Graphics Controller 82845G (standard on the Dimension 2400). The drivers are the last ones available (2005). According to the claimed specs, this SHOULD be EMBM compatible. Here's a screenshot: ![]()

go to to the game directory, go to sim, then art, then textures, in one of the waterbump images,(or any water images) is that texture, just make it a solid blue instead.

I already forgot all the details because I do not play SH2 anymore. However, I never had such a hexagon overlay with my mod. I guess Eagle1 is write, something has to do with .TGAs.

Yes the mod uses one of the .tgas that was originally meant for the underwater look of the surface. You can either do what eagle1 said, or look into the tags and determine which one that is, then open the mdf files and change the line that links to it for another graphic.
