I was thinking of moddelling some wrecked and bombed out buildings, for the french ports, and maybe add some fire to them also.
![]() Question, would it be possible to make these buildings only appear during the later years of the war? or is this kind of flexibilty not possible for land objects? I think it would do wonders to give the impression of the war turning sour for Germans, by 1944 The ports of Lorient and Brest were bombed to hell (to the point there was almost nothing left part from the bunkers.) |

JU-88, now that sounds like a very good mod. Would love to come back to port and see damaged buildings. It would make being transfered to another base more realistic do to bombed out subpens.

Hmmm cool idea
The million dollar q so to speak is does remoddeling Lorient affect any other ports? I imagine that through SH3commander it may be possible to swop the dats for the ports at the right years Another problem is that the ports are used many times throughout the world However I notice Lorient is used only twice - Lorient and Dubrovnik Brest is used twice also - Brest and Torres As long as modding the Lorient dat doesnt affect other buildings in other ports then I reckon its a great idea JU Have a word with Ref mate ![]() I suspect he will know |

Harbour kit is just a model repository, it has all the buildings, cranes, etc in no particular order, the locations files (ie . data\terrain\locations\kiel.dat) are composed from especial nodes that references some object in the library dir by it's ID, and tells where it would be placed in relation to the main node in the location file, it's done to reduce file sizes, it's more logical to have all repeating objects stored in one place and call them when you need it.
