My own lil research.
I was not playing Silent Hunter lately untill the Gray Wolves mod came out. I'm going to be playing a whole day on my day off from work. I am looking forward to Wolves Of The Pacific being released. March can't arrive fast enough! I'm going to be posting more on the forums. I wanted to point to two books I'm going to be reading [both I read long ago in my teens when Gato was "the" sub game]. 1. Undersea Victory [470+ pages] and 2. Silent Victory [1070+ pages]. Silent is on its way to me now by Amazon.
What other books do you recomend that I read to get the knowlege and feel of the Pacific war [navel side that is]? Any help would be great. No picture books. Just nice thick dry history. ![]() ![]() |
