Nice screens!

What did you learn from this short career?

NEVER....be seen anywhere in the area where DD's are located! The only time I'm surfaced inside the DD's detection zone is real late at night, fog, and some swells.

Yes, dsvet, you get so attached and friendly with the crew knowing that one day....one day it might all be gone.

Whats happened!? Why do you were at the surface on a bright day, fine weather - and two enemy ships near you?
Next time (special trick) try pressing: "C"

Well, the sinking was a result of fighting off 2 Avro recon planes....I figured 2 engines and slow....easy kills. The flak gunners got one and a piece of the other one, but in the process they had used the radio and called in a nearby Hunter-Killer group. I got jumped by four DD's, I crashed dived and managed to evade for 10 hours or so, thought I had got away when all of a sudden one them came in and dropped a perfect string of DC'S right along the side and top of U-65. Massive damage, diesels destroyed, flak gone, attack and observation scope destroyed, massive flooding so forth and so on. Anyway blew ballast made it to the surface on ly to last about 5 minutes before taking the long dive to Davy Jones locker.

Moral of story...no matter what, when you see Airplanes...DIVE DON'T FIGHT!

That is the aftermath of 10 hrs of DC's and trying to get away from a H-K ASW group. I was dead in the water, decided to surface and save as many of the crew as I could, except GWX doesn't let you surrender.

You were unlucky to run into such a dedicated HK group in 41.
