Currently I'm reading Hunter-Killer that deals with CVE aircraft carriers that decimated the u-boats. There was a reference to an IXA boat. This game offers the B and C version. What was the difference?

Back on topic, why isn't the IXA in the game? Would have added more variety I believe...also they don't look too different...surely modelling them wouldn't be that hard?

I see the A boat was built until 1939 and then the B boat was introduced. Perhaps omitted from the game because of 1939 war started.
