Default Patrol Logs

If we want patrol logs and personal patrol diaries, then I think there should be a separate forum COMPLETELY FOR IT, it does not belong in this forum.

And why does it not belong in this forum? Something that lends to the immersion of this game certainly seems right at home here.

Should we just limit the forum to reporting CTDs and asking the same general questions over and over?

Why not? What is this forum for if not to talk about playing Sh3?

Besides nobody is making you read them, you could always just ignore the threads.
You'd then be missing out on great stories of course, but hey ...

You know i used to write stories and flesh out characters. filling in details between the lines with the logs SH3 commander generates. Then i got lazy and started putting in pictures of Sh3 commanders logs.

These days, i just post the damn log SH3 commander generates. Only i decided to upload them to my website and stick it in my sig. Problem solved! No need to create any threads, but you got the log in every damn post i make now. :rotfl:

I don't see the point of not having patrol logs. After all if they are too long and one doesn't like them, there is always the option not to read them I like them but I don't always read them

Well, this thread proved mighty interesting. After seeing the poll started by Albrecht Von Hesse, I thought it would be interesting to see whether the poll was correct or not as the poll does not tell us who voted for what.

I agree with you Ducimus, except for the part of my "logging" on all your posts; and those of you who said they think it should be in this forum. The stories are there for interesting reading and a member can read them or not. Yes, I have read some of them and they are very well written, as I did say in one of them, forget which one it was. Each to their own opinion.

I have made posts when I needed help or questions answered and everyone was very nice in helping me out, and I appreciated that very much. This post was not written to create problems between us, just searching out those who thought one way or the other. No harm intended, just seeing if the poll was accurate.

Very interesting indeed. Thanks for your responses. From what I see here I think the poll was a little "off"

Rob

I have no problem with the logs. Let's keep 'em, I say.
