Default Ordering SH4

I hope we all order SH4 through this Forum, but Ubisoft are already taking pre orders.

I'm not going to order SH4 until I've read some good reviews.

I have no doubts that this will be an excellent sub sim, I do want to know what copyright protection system it comes with though. After the Starforce fiasco, I want to know what's being added to my system.

I don't think Ubi is using Starforce anymore. I think SH4 will come with something different.

The question is what have they replaced it with? Something less intrusive I hope!

I said I would wait and see with SHIII. There were a few disappointments, but overall I love it, and will probably play it until something better comes along (which means I might be playing it for life).

I'll be pre-ordering SH4 at the first available opportunity.

And I'll be pre-ordering it through SubSim.

will i think that that'll go with SercurRom like thay did for IL2 '46. problem with that was that some poeple had dvdrom drive issues and it leeched about 20 to 30 FPS from the game (till avery one got the no dvd.exe -- NOTE: ALL STILL HAD THE ORGINAL COPY SAW THERE WAS NOW PIREASEI -- not that it never happens)

Fire-fox is probably right, they'll most likely use SecuRom which caused a whole host of framerate issues with Il-2:1946 from what I've seen on their forums. But we'll just have to wait and see.

Default How to Order through this Site

I'd like to make sure I support the group by ordering through the forum when available (and deemed "safe") but not sure how to do so. Will someone please provide direction at an appropriate time?

Thanks,

John
