Default Problem with graphics in GWX

Hey Boys and Girls!

Nice to be here and first of all I want to tell the GWX developer(s) what a fine work He/seh/they did! Finally SH3 has been developed to a degree that makes me feel like it is as realistic as a U-Boat Simulation for WWII should be.

Concerning my problem: I have installed GWX and played 3 petrols without facing any technical difficulties but since today as soon as I load the game I get distorted graphics. Even the loading screen is patred into many horizontal "stripes" (just as all the folowing screens).
I have updated my Nvidia graphics driver but unfortunately it had no effect.
Is this a known problem ? IS anyone able to help me ?

Thanks and a happy new year!

What were you doing on the last save? Sometimes saving submerged/in port/warships around will screw things up for you.

Welcome aboard.

These 'stripes', would they be multi-coloured and random & are you seeing these on anyother game?

Cheerio,

I just saved after my last patrol. Now I have saved on the next one, directly niside my home port, cause I wanted to see wether those stripes would be visible in the "ingame graphics" as well.
They are not coloured or something, just that they divide the screen a little.
Any other game I have tried is ok.

Can I "reset" it withour losing my advances ? MAybe even without installing everything again ?
