Default new version of my explosion sounds

Ok, i'll give another minimod of myself to the public.

Most of these sounds were already in my previous pack I have released before. I have removed one file from the package as it was used in GWX. (thx Guys)

Whats new:

I fooled around with the DC explosions this time. According to movies and books from inside the u-boat a DC attack sounded like a terrible BANG, as it does already in stock and all mods. So I mixed the two GWX files, the DC explosion and the GWX sound of the "screaming submarine" to keep that unchanged.

Where you will notice a difference is in external view, there the DC's and all other underwater explosions will actually sound ilike being underwater. Maybe some of you have thrown a firecracker in a lake in their youth, then you know what I mean.

I suggest you give it a try:

Just extract into sounds, and they will automatically replace the old ones.

But its best to use JSGME, the mod enabler, so you can easily remove them if you dont like em.

Default My 2 cents...

Hi MRV,

I like the idea of muffl´ing the DC explosion to let it sound like its underwater, but there are two things that are "wrong".
1. its way too quiet
2. theres a "scratch" at ~ 2.50sec´s which ruins the whole file (for my taste)

what I have noticed just now... you made the actual DC explosion quiet, and the far-away explosion loud. is there a special reason for this?

ah and in the bomb explosion sound you can hear wood hitting dirt... like on land... but wood mostly doesnt hit dirt on sea

the other sounds/explosions are sounding a bit too muffled for me, like bad quality from an old black&white war movie... and they are a bit noisy...

but thats just my point of view...

just heard that inside the shell fire explosion sound is a little scratch too... at 2,50-2,75secs...

maybe you want to fix that?

regards
NS

R.I.P. RapidSh*t, never liked it anyway.

My favorite is the P16 Oil Explosion, this should have been part of GWX. Well, it is now He He.
