WaW: NYGM + GWX Question

Not sure if this is the best place to post this inquiry so I'm prepared to be blasted out of the water for it

.... Anyway, I have an interest in joining a larger group like WaW. According to what I've read so far, they require NYGM to be installed. My questions are: Is GWX compatible with NYGM? Imo, I wouldn't think so; however, would GWX instead satisfy the requirements of joining that group anyway?

I'm asking because I'm absolutely spoiled now by GWX and cannot imagine playing SH3 without it. So I'm unwilling to use anything else unless it's compatible with GWX. I would have posted this question on the WaW forum but I figured that that would put me in a position of seeking membership before I have acquired all the necessary info to make that decision.
