Default Restarting SH3 with GWX, SH3C 2.7

Sorry, a couple of questions that I need to ask.

1. I had the prescience ( ) to make a copy of stock SH3 patched to 1.4b. Now I can't remember if I had completed the academy exams. Does GWX give you the renown (as if you had passed the exams with flying colours) or do I have to defer installing GWX, and finish the exams first?

2. How do I "upgrade" to SH3C 2.7, from 2.6?

I've downloaded all files, checked with the MD5 program to make sure that none of the downloads are corrupt, and am chomping at the bit to have a go.

Thanks.

1. If you start GWX without doing the exams, You'll start with 500 renown. You can do the Naval Academy b4 or after you install GWX. Some say it's easier to get the renown b4 you stall GWX, but I don't think it's that hard. Or you can cheat and modify the Naval Academy file without doing the exam all together.

If you've got backed up your previouse Saved game,
In Documents/SHIII/

Go to the data folder, open the Cfg file , inside there is
a Text document called NavalAcademy Copy it to your new Saved game
Same ditectoryWhen you start playing GWX, and you will have athe academy done...

Resuming and clearing it up:

Before instaling the GWX you removed you career located at:

Your documents/SHIII....

Run the Gwx once and creat The player name you what...

All you have to do now is copy the academy file text from that old career
to the new one that is created when you start playing GWX...

Remember put the text file inside the cfg folder
not inside the career folder...
