Fatigue Question

I'm using 1.4 patched with TGW 1.1.

Do the men suffer from fatigue more as the seas worsen? Was on a patrol where the seas where omg rough and it seemed like they were crapping out left and right. New patrol, calm seas, they go on forever.

What is the rating on your guys. As time goes on they get stronger and last longer. I do not think the rough seas have any affect on the men.

Yes. Stressful situations like rough seas and battle situations fatigue your men more than normal. Hope this helps!

Rougher seas DO make the crew get fatigued quicker. You can see this if you look at the fatigue config files (as I did when I was trying to turn it off).

Did you know you can change the fatigue model (or turn it off) in SH3 Commander?

Yep, I knew that. Tried it once and it didn't feel right for some reason. Went back to micro-manage; I'm pretty sure the commander didn't rotate staff and perform house/U-Boat cleaning though.

On my last patrol I hit a terrible storm, I had to change my Engine and Watch crew EVERY TWO HOURS from Northern Ireland to the Dutch coast..

Bad weather makes a hell of a difference. In good weather you can make about 8?? hours without your crew getting exhausted.

After that many crew changes I was exhausted.

Usually I use the No Fatigue option from SH3Cmd. It's far too tiering to have to rotate the crew all the time. I'd rather concentrate of sinking the enemy

I use SH3 Commander and select the GW 8 hour watch effect and it really helps. Not as much micromanagement of your crew.
